Requests for visitors

In order to ensure the comfort of all visitors to the museum and to maintain a good environment for the artworks, we ask for your cooperation in the following matters.

  • ・Please take off your shoes to enter the museum. Please wear socks.
  • ・Do not touch the exhibits, display cases, doors and windows.
  • ・Please refrain from using anything other than a pencil in the museum.
  • ・Photographing and video recording are not permitted on the ground floor.
  • ・Please set your cell phone to silent mode and refrain from making calls or using the internet in the museum.
  • ・Smoking is not allowed in the museum.
  • ・Please do not eat or drink in the museum.
  • ・Please refrain from any activity that may disturb other visitors.
  • ・Please leave your umbrellas in the umbrella stand.
  • ・If you need a cane, please bring the one you use at home.
  • ・Pets are not allowed in the museum.
    (Please contact us in advance if you wish to enter the museum with a guide dog, service dog, or hearing dog.)
  • ・Regarding all other matters, please follow the instructions of the staff.

The shop sells postcards, handkerchiefs, “”Shikishi”” (reproductions), framed paintings (reproductions), hanging scrolls (reproductions), books and other items.
We also ship. Credit cards accepted.
(Shikishi is a square card paper used for drawing.)
