This exhibition highlights Yokoyama Taikan’s expressive use of color, inviting visitors to appreciate his remarkable sense of color and the beauty of nature.
Featured works include Byōbu: Persimmons and Autumn Leaves, Musashino, and Night, which are said to have been inspired by the trees and landscape of the garden. The exhibition also presents seasonally themed works by artists associated with Taikan, including Hishida Shunsō’s Autumn Evening Beauty and Kawabata Ryūshi’s Chrysanthemums.
