60Luofu Xian (Rafusen in Japanese) is the spirit of the plum tree. According to the legend, in the Sui Dynasty, Zhao Shixiong climbed Mt. Luofu where he met a beautiful woman and drank wine with her. At the break of dawn, the woman was gone and all he found were plum trees with a pleasant scent. This piece is the visualization of the legend. 41羅ら浮ふ仙せん大正8（1919）年頃掛軸紙本174.5 × 70.5 cm （未完） 羅浮仙とは、梅の花の精のこと。隋の趙ちょう師し雄ゆうは、羅浮山に遊んだ際、ある美女とともに酒を酌み交わした。夜が明けると美女はおらず、そばには梅の樹がかぐわしい香りをはなっていたという。伝統的な画題であり、大観は幾度かこれを作品の題材としている。本作では、未完成ながら、夜の闇にぼんやり浮かび上がる羅浮仙の、幻想的な雰囲気が表現されている。Rafusen (Unfinished Work)
