50Shin shin means the soul and Taikan says, “My view of Mt. Fuji is fully expressed by this word”. During the Shōwa wartime (before 1945), Taikan often used this word in the titles of his Mt. Fuji drawings. 36心しん神しん昭和28（1953）年頃額紙本40.0 × 30.5 cm 「心神」とは魂のことであり、「私の富士観はこの言葉に言い尽くされている」と大観は語っている。戦時中、大観はしばしばこの言葉を富士図のタイトル（作品名）として用いており、日本の精神を表すものとして富士を描いていたことがわかる。ほかに「日出処日本」「神国日本」「神州第一峰」などの作品名も見られた。Shin Shin(Sacredness of Japan)
